Live Event Raises $4,063.66 for Greater Nutley Cancer Foundation

NUTLEY, NJ – A significant upset took place at IWF UNSTOPPABLE on April 12, 2025, when All-American Chip Atkins defeated IWF Heavyweight Champion Dark Oracle Sage in controversial fashion at the Parks & Rec Center in Nutley, NJ.

During the 28th annual spring spectacular presented by Ocean Beach Sales & Rentals, IWF fans, wrestlers, staff and sponsors came together to raise $4,063.66 for the Greater Nutley Cancer Foundation. Since 2012, IWF live event fundraisers have collectively raised $56,042.56 for cancer charities.

During the Triple Main Event, Chip Atkins, accompanied by East Side Dave McDonald, triumphed over IWF kingpin Dark Oracle Sage, who was joined by Hall of Fame manager El Famoso Eloy Fiesta. The masked "Chip" stepped in for the initial challenger, East Side Dave, who reported an injury sustained while warming up before the match.

Due to the match stipulation, Brian Atkins, Robert Atkins, Justin Adams and Chris Steeler of The East Side Empire were banned from ringside, leading Dave to choose the previously unknown Atkins triplet "Chip" as his substitute. The highly disputed win by Chip marks the end of Sage's impressive three-year title reign, which began in April 2022.

IWF Tag Team Champions Master of Chaos Kevin Knight and Supersonic KC Bonilla successfully defended their titles by defeating First-Class Justin Adams and The Standard Bearer Chris Steeler, who were accompanied by East Side Dave. Following the match, Adams and Steeler assaulted Knight and Bonilla, seizing the title belts and asserting that Bonilla was not the legal man in the ring during the pinfall.

To round out the Triple Main Event, IWF American Champion All-American Robert Atkins narrowly turned away the challenge of powerhouse Patrick Sanchez to retain the title. The victory extends Robert's 18-month title reign that began in November 2023.

In singles action, All-American Brian Atkins, with East Side Dave, beat Janko Sons, with Eloy Fiesta.

In a featured attraction, All-Star Michele Dee defeated The Iron Woman Skylar to win the vacant IWF Women's Championship. Dee becomes the third competitor in history to hold the lady's crown.

The popular duo of American Bulldog Ken Reedy and IWF Hall of Famer Phat Daddy Biggie Biggs were victorious against Prince Malcolm III and The Spectacle Ezon Leverett in a Tag Team Match. The bout marked Biggs' return to the IWF after a seven-year absence.
