Leading the path of destruction into the family-friendly extravaganza are IWF Heavyweight Champion Dark Oracle Sage, IWF Tag Team Champions Master of Chaos Kevin Knight and Live Wire Charles Gaston, The All-Americans Brian and Robert Atkins, First-Class Justin Adams, Benjamin T. Asher, East Side Dave McDonald, IWF American Champion Supersonic KC Bonilla and more.
The Memorial Foundation was formed after IWF Hall of Famer Golden Boy Michael Cammett tragically passed away in June 2021. Cammett graduated from North Arlington High School in 2015 and was captain of the Vikings football team, and indoor and outdoor track and field teams. He was a member of the Vikings Athletic Council, National Honor Society, Students Against Destructive Decisions, Interact Club and Student Council.
Cammett received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University-Newark in 2019, and posthumously received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rutgers in 2023. Cammett is a former IWF American Champion, Tag Team Champion, Junior-Heavyweight Champion, and three-time Wrestler of the Year.
Michael Robert Cammett Jr. Memorial Foundation is a civic member of Nutley Chamber of Commerce, as Michael was involved with the chamber and Nutley Relay For Life during his wrestling career. The Foundation provides collegiate scholarships to North Arlington High School students and donates to charitable causes in North Jersey.
New Jersey Broadcasters Association Hall of Famer Bert Baron, host of WRNJ Radio Morning Show and B-Inspired Podcast, will serve as event emcee.
“Michael Cammett was an amazing athlete and an even better person,” said Bert Baron. “November 18th will be a celebration of his life and legacy, and I am honored to be a part of this special IWF event.”
Thanks to the efforts of IWF fans, wrestlers, staff and sponsors, $7,707.07 was raised for Michael Robert Cammett Jr. Memorial Foundation at live event fundraisers in 2021 and 2022.
As IWF celebrates its 26th Anniversary on November 18th, fans will witness heated rivalries, high-flying maneuvers and fierce head-to-head battles for all IWF Championships.
