Darren Young signed with World Wrestling Entertainment in May 2009, and began training at Florida Championship Wrestling.  He appeared on WWE NXT Season 1, then joined Nexus on Monday Night Raw.
  
  
Feel the power!  Few men in wrestling walk down the aisle and garner instant respect, but Darren Young in an exception.  He is the most explosive performer to step foot inside an IWF ring.  Darren is a dynamo who uses his natural resources to polish off the competition.  He is carved out of granite and possesses immeasurable strength.  Young is double tough and can unleash a ferocious power display sure to cut any opponent down to size.  The BoneCrusher slam has taken the fight out of many and earned him numerous championships.

Darren Young (aka: BoneCrusher Fred Sampson) began training at
IWF Wrestling School under the direction of Kevin Knight in September 2002, and graduated in May 2003.  Is a former two-time IWF Heavyweight Champion, having become the youngest man to ever hold the belt when he defeated Knight for the title on May 17, 2003.  Won the 2004 IWF Tournament of Champions competition.  Young is a 2006, 2004 and 2003 IWF Commissioner's Cup Tag Team Tournament winner, with three different partners.
  
Ranked annually since 2003 in PWI Magazine's Top 500 list.  Appeared in Survivor Series football-themed commercial in Fall 2003, and served as a police detective in a segment with Eddie Guerrero on SmackDown in 2003.  Appeared in WrestleMania XX from Madison Square Garden as a Druid for The Undertaker.  Appeared on an October 2004 edition of Raw from Madison Square Garden as a security guard in a segment with Ric Flair, Batista, Randy Orton and Eric Bischoff.  Served as police officer for Kurt Angle to protect his Olympic Medal.  Wrestled on a March 2005 edition of Velocity in a tag match against Bob Holly and Charlie Haas.  Wrestled on WWE Heat in 2006 and 2007.
